I am a New York City-based event photographer with over 20 years of professional experience working globally in more than 25 countries. I'm trusted by a wide range of UN agencies, non-profits, corporations, and editorial clients to capture authentic, dynamic story-driven moments. I will partner seamlessly with your team and capture key moments - the spirit, color, and emotions - all while creating flattering, crisp, vivid imagery.

I photograph everything from - galas and fundraisers to conferences, brand activations, performances, and community events - I'd love to chat about your upcoming event to see how together we can create images that showcase your organization's work. And if your organization needs new headshots, please reach out!

FAQ

  • What kind of events do you photograph?

I photograph a wide variety of events, including multi-day conferences, nonprofit galas, fundraisers, corporate events, performances, brand activations, high-level executive meetings, and community events.

I am UN credentialed to regularly provide photography services for UN agencies, country missions to the UN, as well as UN-affiliated organizations.

  • How would you describe your photography style?

My approach is documentary and unobtrusive. Rather than interrupting the flow of your event, my main goal is to capture authentic moments and the atmosphere that tells the story of the day and your organization. That said, when there are situations that require more of a directorial-style I provide that.  I also make sure to document the key people, branding, speakers, and details your communications team needs. Though the focus is on capturing candid moments, there’s plenty of opportunity for posed photos when those are sought after.

  • Can you provide more than one photographer?

Yes, many conferences, galas, and events benefit from team coverage rather than a single photographer. Depending on your event, I can provide additional photographers to cover concurrent sessions, cocktail hours, behind-the-scenes moments, and VIP guests simultaneously.

I also offer associate photographer coverage for clients who love my style but are looking for a more budget-conscious option. Associates are carefully selected professionals whose work aligns with my approach, and every image gallery is edited to reflect the consistent quality and storytelling my clients expect.

  • What information do you need before the event?

I know in today’s hectic world that it seems more efficient to discuss things by email, but I’m a strong believer in having a conversation with a potential client to have a better understanding of their needs, budget, and other considerations.  That dialogue allows me to ask questions and provide a clearer sense of my approach to the job. No matter how our communications takes place, though, these are the key things that help provide a quote and allow for proper planning for your event.

    • Type of event + program

    • Schedule (date, timing, number of hours)

    • VIP list

    • Speakers

    • Must-have moments

    • Branding priorities

    • Communications goals

    • Insurance requirements (ie/COI)

I usually have a two-hour minimum for bookings. It’s important to understand that any quote for services takes into account not just the on-site coverage time, but prep, gear, travel, and post-production.

  • How quickly will we receive our photos?

Many clients will need a small selection of images delivered quickly (the same day or next day) for press releases, blog posts, or social media. The full edits are typically delivered 3-5 days after an event. This is an important point for discussion prior to booking since an urgent turn-around of large edits may require an additional fee.

  • How many photos will we receive?

Every event is different. I never edit to a specific number. I deliver the best images of the day to my clients. You'll receive a carefully curated online gallery providing different angles and variations for a broad perspective of your event.

  • Do you provide headshots during events?

On occasion clients are keen to have a headshot setup during an event. I'm happy to provide that service.
